On Tuesday 7 April 2026, Luxembourg’s Roads and Bridges Administration announced that from Saturday 10 until Monday 13 April 2026 the N31 between Bettembourg and Burange, as well as multiple sections of the A13, will be closed to traffic.

The administration said that the closure is necessary due to resurfacing work taking place on the Burange roundabout. The work will take place from approximately 20:00 on Friday 10 April until approximately 05:00 on Monday 13 April.

As part of these works, the Burange interchange will be closed and diversions with traffic signs will be put in place. 

Closures and diversions:

• the N31 between Bettembourg and Burange;

• access to the Burange interchange from Bettembourg and Dudelange towards the A13 motorway in the direction of Schengen;

• access to the Burange interchange from Dudelange towards the A13 motorway in the direction of Esch-sur-Alzette;

• the exits from the A13 motorway at the Burange interchange in both directions.

Road users wishing to access the A13 motorway will be diverted via the Kayl interchange, the Dudelange-Centre interchange and the Hellange interchange.

Access to the Burange interchange from Bettembourg towards Esch-sur-Alzette will remain open during the works.

Road users coming from Dudelange and heading towards Bettembourg will be diverted via the N31, CR190, CR164, CR160, CR161 and the N13.

Road users coming from Bettembourg and heading towards Dudelange will be diverted via the N13, CR164, CR168, CR166 and the N31.
