Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in diesel and heating oil prices.
As of Friday 3 April 2026, the price of diesel at the pump has dropped by 3.6 cents to €2.021 per litre (including VAT). Heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥ 1 500 litres) prices have fallen by 4.0 cents to €1.477 per litre.
Prices for diesel for industrial and commercial use and diesel for agricultural and horticultural use also fell, by 3.6 cents, to €1.576 and €1.424 per litre, respectively. At the same time, LPG and propane prices dropped by 5.4 and 5.7 cents, respectively, to stand at 87.6 and 89.6 cents per litre.
Petrol prices remain unchanged at this time, with unleaded 95 octane petrol costing €1.758 per litre and unleaded 98 octane petrol standing at €1.858 per litre.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent weeks amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
