On Thursday 26 March 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that infrastructure works will take place on Rue Haute in Luxembourg-Hamm from 07:00 on Monday 30 March to 17:00 on Sunday 12 April.
The VdL said that as a result of these works Rue Haute will be closed to all traffic on the section between Rue de la Montagne and the roundabout formed with Rue de Bitbourg and Allée des Châtaigniers.
The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department has said appropriate signage will be put in place.
In addition, the VdL has announced the following changes to public transport services during the road closure:
⁃ The Rue Haute and Käschtewee stops will be suspended in both directions. It should be noted that the Rue de Bitbourg stop will continue to be served by all lines (9, 15 and 27) that normally operate there.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the works will be postponed.
Update: On Friday 10 April 2026, the VdL announced the duration of the works would be extended from their original end date of Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April (17:00).
