Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in certain fuel prices.
As of Thursday 5 February 2026, the price per litre of diesel has dropped by 3.7 cents to €1.427 (including VAT), while that of home heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥1,500 l) has decreased by 3.9 cents to €0.867.
The prices of industrial and commercial diesel, as well as agricultural and horticultural diesel, have dropped by 3.7 and 3.6 cents to €0.982 and €0.830, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol remains unchanged at €1.433 per litre, while unleaded 98 octane petrol also remains stable at €1.534 per litre.
The price of LPG fuel also remains unchanged at €0.710 per litre and that of bulk propane for household use stays the same at €0.752 per litre.
