Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of diesel, while the prices of petrol, LPG fuel and household propane remain unchanged.

As of Friday 16 January 2026, the maximum price of diesel has risen by 3.7 cents to €1.412 per litre (including VAT).

The prices of unleaded petrol remain unchanged, with 95 octane petrol capped at €1.433 per litre and 98 octane petrol at €1.539 per litre.

Heating oil (10 ppm S, ≥1,500 litres) has risen by 4.2 cents to €0.850 per litre. Additional charges apply for smaller deliveries, ranging from €0.016 to €0.036 per litre depending on volume.

Diesel for industrial and commercial use has increased by 3.8 cents to €0.970 per litre, while diesel for agricultural and horticultural use has risen by 3.7 cents to €0.817 per litre.

The prices of LPG fuel and bulk propane for household use remain unchanged, at €0.690 per litre and €0.730 per litre respectively.
