Luxembourg's National Roads Administration has announced that the first motorway tunnel maintenance and cleaning campaign for 2025 will begin on Tuesday 18 March.

This campaign includes the preventive and curative maintenance of safety equipment, monitoring of the operation and interaction of the various equipment and cleaning of the tunnel walls.

In order to reduce the impact on traffic and taking into account coordination with other construction sites, tunnel maintenance and cleaning operations will be mainly carried out at night.

Luxembourg's National Roads Administration conducts two such campaigns every year. The first maintenance and cleaning campaign will take place from mid-March to the end of May 2025, while the second will take place between early September and early November 2025.
