The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a couple of road accidents took place on Luxembourg's roads on Friday 10 August 2024.
Shortly after 18:00 on Friday, a rear-end collision occurred on the A3 motorway, near Livange. The driver of the car that was hit was injured in the accident and was taken to hospital for further treatment after receiving first aid on-site. Two other occupants of that same car were also taken to hospital for checks. An accident report was drawn up. Alcohol tests were negative.
Shortly before midnight on Friday, there was a collision between two cars on Rue Principale in Hagen. A motorist who was driving from Windhof in the direction of Hagen drove into oncoming traffic, causing a collision with an approaching car. Three people were treated by the emergency services at the scene of the accident and then taken to hospital for checks. Alcohol tests were negative.
