On the afternoon of Tuesday 30 July 2024, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a traffic accident occurred on the B7 motorway near a radar, between Ettelbruck and Diekirch .
Initial reports suggest that a vehicle veered into the oncoming lane while overtaking, causing the victim to swerve and crash into the barrier at around 15:45.
The vehicle that fled the scene was described as a dark SUV heading towards Ettelbrück, the police added.
