On the morning of Thursday 1 August 2024, the Grand Ducal Police reported that the A6 towards Belgium was temporarily closed following a road accident.
The accident took place on the E25 in Belgium between the Sterpenich and Weyler exits. As a result, the A6 in Luxembourg had to be closed from the Steinfort exit in the direction of Arlon (Belgium). Traffic was diverted via the N13 and the N6.
At around 09:45 on Thursday, the police confirmed that the temporary closure on the A6 had been lifted.
