The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious multi-vehicle collision occurred on the N31 on Wednesday evening.
The accident, involving three cars, took place near the Kayl Poteau hiking trail at around 22:15 on Wednesday 23 November 2022.
A motorist tried to overtake but was unable to return to his/her lane in time, resulting in a head-on collision with two oncoming vehicles.
One woman suffered serious injuries in the crash and had to be freed from her vehicle by rescue workers. After receiving emergency first aid on site, she was taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
An accident report was drawn up.
Traffic was disrupted in the area following the accident.
