The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred on the CR123 route between Colmar-Berg and Cruchten in central Luxembourg on Thursday morning.
The accident took place around 11:35 on Thursday 13 October 2022. The car collided with a tree before overturning.
The rescue services and the emergency doctor immediately went to the scene of the accident but the 28-year-old driver succumbed to his serious injuries on the spot.
For the duration of the rescue and recovery work, the route was closed to traffic for several hours both directions. An accident report was recorded.
