The Grand Ducale Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred in Schwebsange (municipality of Schengen) in south-eastern Luxembourg on Sunday evening.
Around 22:30 on Sunday 4 September 2022, a serious road accident occurred when a motorcyclist, who was driving along the CR152 from Schwebsange in the direction of Wintrange, collided with a metal road block near the junction with the Am Heenz road in Schwebsange. The motorcyclist fell and suffered serious injuries.
The victim received first aid on the spot before being taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on the morning of Monday 5 September 2022.
The police forensics team was entrusted with the clarification of the exact course of the accident.
