Luxembourg's Roads Administration has announced plans to close the A6 motorway to traffic between between the Belgian-Luxembourg border and the Steinfort interchange from 6 to 8 May 2022.

A traffic barrier will be placed on A6 motorway towards Gasperich between the Belgian-Luxembourg border and the Steinfort interchange for the rehabilitation work. During this period, a bidirectional mode, one lane per direction, will be placed and the maximum speed will be limited to 70 km/h.

The work will begin around 22:00 on Friday 6 May and expected to be completed around 18:00 on Sunday 8 May. However, the preparatory work necessary for changing the mode of operation of the motorway will be carried out a few hours beforehand, and consequently traffic disruptions are expected from late Friday afternoon.
