The City of Luxembourg has announced various changes to the car park on the site of the future COVID-19 vaccination centre at Halle Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertstberg.

Halle Victor Hugo was recently converted into Luxembourg's first coronavirus vaccination centre, with vaccinations for healthcare staff set to commence here on Monday 28 December 2020.

In preparation, the central part of the car park will be demarcated by fences and will be strictly reserved for staff of the vaccination centre as well as visitors with an official invitation. This part of the car park will be closed to traffic from 14:00 on Sunday 27 December until Wednesday 30 December 2020 inclusive. The locations at the edge of the car park, namely spaces for people with reduced mobility, Carloh car-sharing spaces, charging stations for electric vehicles as well as a few ordinary spaces remain at the public's disposal. The voluntary intake station, commonly known as an "igloo station", also remains accessible.

The car park will still be accessible from Avenue Victor Hugo and Avenue du Bois.

The Traffic Department of the City of Luxembourg will put in place appropriate signage to access the site of the vaccination centre.
