A serious road accident occurred between three vehicles yesterday evening on the N12 near Wincrange in northern Luxembourg.
On Tuesday at 17:30, a motorist was driving along the road between Antoniushof and Lentzweiler in northern Luxembourg when he/she collided with the car in front. The impact of the collision forced the driver responsible for the crash onto the opposite lane where he/she collided with a second vehicle.
In response, a rescue helicopter was sent to the scene of the accident and the road was closed to traffic during the rescue operation.
One person suffered serious injuries and another was taken to hospital.
