On Friday afternoon, a traffic accident on the CR360 in central Luxembourg resulted in the death of one motorcyclist.
Shortly before 13:00, a group of motorcyclists were driving along the CR360 between Michelbouch and Bissen when one of them lost control of his motorcycle on a right hand bend. The 52-year-old Belgian national from Waterloo slid off the wet road and into a ditch across the road, where he crashed into a meadow fence post.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and ultimately died at the scene. His companions were offered psychological support from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).
The road was closed in both directions until 15:30.
