Luxembourg's Roads Authority has announced that it will be carrying out a project related to the renewal of the wearing course of a slip road at the Hamm (Irrgarten) interchange on the A1 from Friday evening until Monday morning.
These works foresee the following road closures between 20:00 on Friday 27 September and 06:00 on Monday 30 September 2019: the Hamm interchange towards Gasperich on the A1; the N2 between Schaffner (Irrgarten) roundabout and the CR225 (Rue Haute) towards Hamm in both directions; the bypass between the N2 from Hamm towards Gasperich on the A1.
For the duration of these works, traffic from the Hamm interchange towards Gasperich on the A1 will be diverted via the Kirchberg Interchange (S8) back onto the A1. Traffic from the Hamm interchange to Hamm and vice versa will be diverted via the N2a-Cents, whilst traffic from Hamm towards Gasperich on the A1 will be diverted via the following route: Cents-N2a-Hamm Interchange (S7) -A1-Kirchberg Interchange (S8) -A1.
