Luxembourg's Public Roads Administration has announced that the Hamm (Irrgarten) interchange will be subject to road works between this Friday evening and next Monday morning.

These works, related to the renewal of the wearing course on slip road no.7 of the interchange (from Gasperich and the N2 between the Hamm interchange towards Sandweiler), will take place approximately between 20:00 on Friday 6 September and 06:00 on Monday 9 September 2019.

During this period, the junction of the Hamm interchange will be closed from Gasperich to the Schaffner roundabout (Irrgarten), as will the N2 between the Schaffner roundabout and Sandweiler in both directions.

Traffic from Sandweiler to the Hamm interchange will be diverted from the Sandweiler roundabout via the CR234B-CR234-CR226-N3-CR231-Hesperange interchange (S1)-Gasperich cross-A1-Kirchberg interchange(S8)-A1 back onto the Hamm interchange (S7). Similarly, traffic from the A3 and A6 and from the Gluck roundabout towards the Hamm (S7) and Sandweiler interchanges will be diverted via the Gasperich-Hesperange cross (S1)-CR231-N3-CR226-CR234 -CR234B to the Sandweiler roundabout. Meanwhile, traffic from the A1 (Kirchberg interchange (S8) and from the Hamm interchange to Sandweiler will be diverted via the A1-Gasperich interchange-Hesperange interchange (S1)-CR231-N3-CR226- CR234-CR234B to the Sandweiler roundabout.
