Road works will be taking place next week on the A7 tunnel between the Lorentzweiler and Mierscherbierg interchanges.

The Luxembourg Roads Authority will carry out a project concerning the renewal of the wearing course on the A7 motorway between the Lorentzweiler interchange and the Mierscherbierg interchanges from around 20:00 on Friday 23 August until around 06:00 on Monday 26 August 2019.

The following closures will be put in place during this period: the A7 motorway between the Lorentzweiler and the Mierscherbierg interchanges in both directions; the Mierschberbierg interchange ramp from the N7 towards the Grünewald junction of the A7; the Mersch interchange ramp from the N8 towards the Grünewald junction of the A7; the slip road of the Lorentzweiler interchange from the N7 and towards Ettelbrück from the A7; the slip road of the Schoenfels interchange from the CR102 and towards Ettelbrück from the A7.

Traffic from Ettelbrück and towards the Grünewald junction via the A7 motorway will be diverted from the Mierscherbierg interchange via the N7 (Mersch) to the Lorentzweiler interchange again on the A7. Traffic in the opposite direction (from Grünewald towards Ettelbrück via the A7) will be diverted from the Lorentzweiler interchange via the N7 (Mersch) to the Miersctherbierg interchange again on the A7.

With preparatory work being carried out a few hours beforehand, traffic disruption is to be expected in the early evening.
