Roadworks to Impact Traffic on A13 over Weekend

Roadworks related to the renewal of the wearing course between the Schifflange interchange and the Kayl interchange will cause road traffic adaptations later this week.

As part of these works, the following sections of the A13 motorway will be closed between 10:00 on Friday 12 July and 16:00 on Monday 15 July 2019:

• between the Schifflange interchange and the Kayl interchange in the direction of the Bettembourg cross on the A13;
• the slip roads of the Schifflange interchange from the CR169 and towards the A13 motorway;
• the slip road of the Kayl interchange from the CR165 and in the direction of the Bettembourg cross on the A13.

Traffic from the A4 and towards Schifflange (CR169) will be diverted from the Foetz interchange (S4) via the CR164 and CR169 towards Schifflange. Similarly, traffic coming from the CR169 (Schifflange) and towards the A4 or the A13 (Bettembourg cross) will be diverted from the Schifflange interchange via the CR169 and the CR164 towards the Foetz interchange and the junction of Esch towards both motorways. Finally, traffic coming from the CR165 (Kayl, Noertzange) and towards the A13 (Bettembourg cross) will be diverted from the Kayl interchange via the CR165, the CR164 and the N31 to the Burange interchange (S8 ) towards the A13.

Traffic on the A13 between the Schifflange interchange and the Kayl interchange will be conducted as two-way traffic.
