On the morning of Sunday 30 June 2019, a traffic accident on the CR324 in Pintsch in northern Luxembourg resulted in the death of one driver.

At 10:45 on Sunday morning, a motorist lost control of his vehicle, for unknown reasons, at a right-hand bend on the Pentchterbréck (Pintsch bridge), where he crashed into the guardrails and into the creek below. 

The 47-year-old motorist died on site from his serious injuries.  Police teams were also at the scene to investigate.

Following the crash, the CR324 between Pintsch and Bockholtz was closed to traffic.
