The CR364 linking Berdorf and Echternach will re-open to traffic next Monday 3 June 2019, according to the Luxembourg Roads Authority.

Following the damage caused by torrential rain and substantial flooding in the Mullerthal region of Luxembourg in early June last year, a financing of €8 million went towards the reconstruction of the CR364 between Berdorf and Echternach.

Over the past year, the road was closed to traffic to facilitate the completion of significant pavement and stabilisation work following erosion caused by the floods of June 2018. The duration of these works is being carried out within the announced deadlines (by summer 2019).

Starting on Monday 27 May 2019, works will begin in relation to road markings, the hard shoulder and the installation of crash barriers. As of 3 June 2019, the road will be once again accessible to motorists.
