The Kayl interchange will be subject to road works between Wednesday evening and Friday afternoon this week.
These works, related to the renewal of the wearing course on its access roads, the Kayl interchange, will take place approximately between 20:00 on Wednesday 24 April and 16:00 on Friday 26 April 2019.
During the first construction phase, the Kayl interchange will be closed to traffic from 20:00 on Wednesday 24 April to 16:00 on Thursday 25 April 2019. More specifically, the access roads from the CR165 and in the direction of the Bettembourg crpss on the A13 will be closed during this time. Similarly, the exit ramp of the interchange from the Bettembourg cross of the A13 and towards the CR165 will be closed. Traffic coming from the CR165 and towards the Bettembourg cross on the A13 and vice versa will be diverted via the Schifflange interchange on the way back on the A13 towards the Kayl interchange.
The second phase of construction will take place from 20:00 on Thursday 25 April until 16:00 on Friday 26 April. This phase foresees the closure of the Kayl interchange access road from the CR165 to the A13 Esch Junction as well as the exit road on the interchange from the Esch junction to the CR165. Traffic from the CR165 to the A13 Esch junction and vice versa will be diverted via the Burange interchange back to the A13 towards the Kayl interchange.
During the construction phase, traffic on the Kayl interchange will be regulated by traffic lights.
