On Wednesday 23 July 2025, ACL Sport announced that its karting track in Mondercange has been included in the official 2025 calendar of the Sodi World Series (SWS), the world’s largest international rental karting championship.
According to ACL Sport, this marks the first time Luxembourg is represented in the global SWS network. In 2025, six races are scheduled to take place in Mondercange as part of the championship.
The Sodi World Series is a global leisure karting competition launched by kart manufacturer Sodikart. The championship features over 700 circuits in nearly 90 countries and currently counts more than 135,000 registered drivers.
Races take place using identical rental karts and do not require a licence or personal racing equipment. Each registered driver earns points in an international online ranking.
Participants in the SWS include drivers in the Junior category (ages eight to fourteen) and in the Sprint, Endurance and e‑Sprint categories (from age fifteen). Drivers may enter individually or in teams. Those who achieve top results over the season may qualify for the 2025 SWS International Finals, held annually at a different track selected by the organisers
A series of “Sprint Cup” races has been scheduled to launch the SWS competitions in Luxembourg, with six dates set for Sunday 24 and Sunday 31 August, Sunday Sunday 14 and Saturday 27 September, and Saturday 5 and Saturday 19 October 2025. All races will take place at the ACL Sport karting track in Mondercange.
