The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that roadworks will take place on Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt in Luxembourg-Ville from Saturday 21 March (06:00) to Sunday 22 March 2026 (20:00) and from Saturday 28 March (06:00) to Sunday 29 March 2026 (20:00).

According to the VdL, these works will require the closure of Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt on the Viaduct Bridge (Passerelle/Vieux Pont) and the following changes will apply to public transport services during the works:

⁃ Bus routes 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 13, 14, 18, 19, 22 and 33 will be diverted via the René Konen Tunnel towards Ville Haute and via Avenue de la Liberté towards the station. The stops F.D. Roosevelt Quai 1 and 2 will be suspended. Route 19 will not serve the stops Roosevelt Quai 1, Cathédrale, Gruef and Kasinosgaass;

⁃ City Night network routes CN1, CN3 and CN8 will be diverted via the René Konen Tunnel towards Ville Haute and will not serve the F.D. Roosevelt Quai 1 stop. Routes CN1, CN2 and CN3 will be diverted via Avenue de la Liberté towards the station and will not serve the Roosevelt Quai 2 stop.

The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department has said appropriate signage will be put in place.
