From Monday 16 to Sunday 22 September 2024, European Mobility Week is taking place under the theme "Shared Public Space".

European Mobility Week is an annual initiative of the European Commission aimed at encouraging European cities and towns to dedicate one week to sustainable mobility.

For this year's edition, the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg) and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) are organising free multimodal tours on Tuesday 17, Thursday 19, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2024.

Accompanied by a tour guide, participants will have the opportunity to explore the capital and its views on foot and by using different modes of public transport (lift, funicular and tram).

An English-language tour is planned for Sunday 22 September 2024 at 14:00. Tours in French, German and Luxembourgish are available on 17 September at 16:30, 19 September at 16:30 and 21 September at 13:30, respectively. Tours last 2.5 hours.

The departure point is in front of the Luxembourg Railway Station (Gare), below the clock.

Participation is free of charge but registration is required (limited number of places) online at luxembourg-city.com or in person at the LCTO tourist information office in Place Guillaume II.
