The Ville de Luxembourg today announced that on the occasion of the Sunday opening of shops in the Ville Haute and Gare district of the City Centre on 6 September 2015, certain City bus lines will be free of charge.

The Ville de Luxembourg has collaborated with the Ministry of Sustainabale Development and Infrastructure to offer bus lines 1-31 and RGTE lines 120, 144, 192, 194 and 215 free of charge on their entire journey during the 6 September garage sale.

Motorists will be able to leave their car at P&R Bouillon if they wish and catch bus line 1, which will leave every 10 minutes from 12:48 from the carpark to the Gare district and City centre. The return journey will start from 13:05 from Quai 2 of Boulevard Royal back to the carpark.

As part of the 'Konscht am Gronn' event, Line 23 will be diverted to the montée de Clausen and will not stop at 'Tour Jacob' and 'Rumm'. A shuttle will run every 30 minutes between Quai 7 of the Gare Centrale and the carpark at the beginning of Rue St Ulric in the Grund.

The City Shooping Bus running from Glacis to Rue Beaumont will not be available on this Sunday due to the presence of the Schueberfouer in the centre.

More information on all bus lines and times can be found at www.vdl.lu.
