On Friday 8 October 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of State, together with the Ministry of Health, announced the temporary reopening of the COVID-19 vaccination centres in Ettelbruck and Esch/Belval.

In order to offer all people who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19, the government has decided to provide an additional opportunity to be vaccinated without too many administrative formalities, from 16 October to 16 December 2021.

Like the Hall Victor Hugo vaccination centre in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, it will also be possible to be vaccinated without prior appointment, in the two centres, which will be open as follows:

• Monday: 13:00 - 19:00
• Tuesday-Friday: 07:00 - 19:00
• Saturday: 07:00 - 13:00

To avoid possible waiting times, it is also possible to make an appointment by indicating one's social security number, via the site www.impfen.lu from Tuesday 12 October 2021. The second appointment will be communicated to the respective persons during their visit to the vaccination centre.

The 2nd dose will be administered after a period of 4 weeks in the same vaccination centre for people vaccinated before 16 November . People who receive their first dose after 16 November will be able to go either to the Hall Victor Hugo vaccination centre or to one of the doctors' offices participating in the vaccination campaign.

The Esch/Belval vaccination centre is located at Maison des matériaux / Bâtiment Nord, 30 avenue des Hauts-Fourneaux, L-4365 Esch-sur-Alzette. The Ettelbruck vaccination centre is based at the Hall des sports CHNP, Rue du Deich, L-9012 Ettelbruck.

In addition, the locations of the “Impf-Bus on tour” can be seen on www.covidvaccination.lu.
