Laboratoires Réunis Luxembourg SA has joined Biogroup, a French network of clinical laboratories, which takes a stake in Laboratoires Réunis following the departure of Udo Margraff after fifteen years of service at the laboratory as Managing Partner.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Laboratoires Réunis, Prof. Dr. Bernard Weber, has chosen to join forces with Biogroup to ensure the sustainability of the company, which he has been managing for more than 20 years.

"Biogroup is the ideal partner for our laboratory since it shares the same values ​​and it opens the doors to an international distribution network for analyses of preventive biology, personalised medicine, disciplines of the future for our common health", explained Prof. Dr. Weber. “Biogroup is a financially sound company which, like our laboratory, is synonymous with quality, innovation and speed. The group is pursuing its international development with investment in Luxembourg to create a solid base to face the challenges posed in public health".

Laboratoires Réunis will remain under Luxembourg management and will continue to operate under the same banner. Prof. Dr. Weber will continue to lead the laboratory as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO with Dr. Stéphane Tholl at his side as Deputy CEO and Hans-Peter Schönhofen as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
