On Monday 21 June 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported zero new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections; there have been 818 fatalities (no new deaths since 1 June) resulting from the virus to date.
A total of 347 tests were carried out on Sunday, with zero coming back positive. The positivity rate was thus 0%.
Wednesday 18 November 2020 marked the record daily high of 891 new cases.
The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) is currently 10.14.
A total of five people are in hospital with the virus, including two patients in intensive care.
As per figures from Sunday 20 June, there are currently 285 active infections known, whilst a total of 69,459 people have recovered from the virus to date. The effective reproductive rate in Luxembourg stands at 0.57.
As of Sunday, a total of 483,523 vaccinations have been carried out in Luxembourg (293,353 first doses, 190,170 second doses).

Since 24 August 2020, the Ministry of Health's published figures only include resident infection numbers, as opposed to earlier figures which included both residents and non-residents (i.e. cross-border workers).
