The City of Luxembourg has announced that it is distributing vouchers for free rapid antigen tests to restaurant and cafe owners.
As COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease, with restaurants and cafes now able to serve customers once again indoors upon presentation of a negative COVID-19 test, the City of Luxembourg has decided to support restaurateurs and cafetiers in terms of logistics, thus simplifying procedures for customers and service providers.
As such, each restaurant or cafe owner may now collect an initial envelope containing 100 vouchers for free rapid antigen tests, intended for customers of their establishment, from either the Town Hall reception in Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg-Ville or the Rocade administrative building in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie (3 Rue du laboratoire, L-1911). Opening hours: 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00.
Customers can also redeem a voucher for a free certified rapid antigen test, to be carried out in one of the pharmacies in Luxembourg City. With the certificate issued by a pharmacist, they can then go to a restaurant or cafe in the capital within 24 hours of validity of the certificate. Vouchers are valid until 12 June 2021 inclusive.
