As announced at a press conference on Wednesday, Luxembourg has set up a waiting list for individuals who were invited to get vaccinated during the second phase of the vaccination campaign but who did not or could not attend their first appointment.
Such individuals, namely those aged 75 and over and those considered to be highly vulnerable due to a pre-existing health condition, will still have the opportunity to get vaccinated at the end of the third phase of the vaccination campaign, which is currently ongoing.
Those concerned and who wish to get vaccinated are invited to register themselves on the waiting list by 31 March 2021 at the latest via Guichet.lu: guichet.lu/vaccination-liste-d-attente. They will receive a new invitation in due course. Personalised assistance is also offered through a hotline specifically set up for this purpose via tel.: 247-65533.
This government decision, which is in line with the opinion of the National Ethics Commission, aims to offer all those who were unable to attend their first appointment the chance to be invited to a later appointment.
