On Saturday 14 November 2020, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported 613 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections yesterday; there have been 222 fatalities (three more fatalities since Friday) resulting from the virus to date.
613 Luxembourg residents tested positive on Saturday from a total of 10,855 tests carried out the day before, representing 97.91 per 100,000 inhabitants. Saturday 24 October marked the record high of daily cases with 862 new cases.
The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) in cases is now 578.86; the record of 678.57 was set on 3 November 2020.
209 people are in hospital with the virus, including 43 patients in intensive care. As of Thursday 12 November 2020, there were 10,284 active infections known, whilst a total of 15,428 people have recovered from the virus.
The effective reproductive number in Luxembourg is currently 0.94.

Since 24 August 2020, the Ministry of Health's published figures only include resident infection numbers, as opposed to earlier figures which included both residents and non-residents (i.e. cross-border workers).
