Luxembourg's Ministry of Health has announced changes to the contact tracing declaration forms aimed at simplifying and accelerating the procedure.

From now on, people who have tested positive for COVID-19 and those who have had close contact with someone having tested positive for the virus can complete the declaration forms online on the following websites: covidtracing.public.lu and covid19.lu.

The link to the first website (available in Luxembourgish, French, German and English) will also be featured in the SMS being sent to people who tested positive for coronavirus. Through the link, individuals can fill in all relevant data online. They can then forward the link with their reference number to their high-risk contacts (ie anyone who was in contact with an infected individual two days before the appearance of the first symptoms or two days before the individual got tested, in the case of an asymptomatic infection).

The Health Ministry recalled that completion of these declaration forms facilitates the work of the Contact Tracing team and allows better management of the pandemic.
