Luxembourg's Ministry of Health has reported 109 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections from 6,039 tests carried out on residents on Monday; there have been 133 fatalities (no change since Monday) resulting from the virus to date.
The total number of Luxembourg residents having tested positive for coronavirus stands at 9,840 as of early evening on Tuesday 13 October 2020.
The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) in cases is now 122.57.
The number of people currently hospitalised with COVID-19 is 53, with three patients in intensive care. At present, there are 1,459 active infections known, whilst a total of 8,248 people have recovered from the virus.
The effective reproductive number in Luxembourg is currently 1.25.

Since 24 August 2020, the Ministry of Health's published figures only include resident infection numbers, as opposed to earlier figures which included both residents and non-residents (i.e. cross-border workers).
