As each municipality is responsible for distributing surgical masks to all its residents within the context of Phase 1 of the phases lockdown exit strategy announced yesterday by Luxembourg's government in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the largest municipality in the Grand Duchy, the Ville de Luxembourg, has announced how it will manage its distribution.
The Ville de Luxembourg has confirmed that the distribution of masks will take place from Monday 20 April 2020 by postal delivery.
Each citizen is entitled to 5 masks which will be supplied together with instructions relating to the wearing of the mask. The simple wearing of a mask alone does not protect against the risk of contagion and it is requested to maintain physical distance, to respect barrier gestures and to limit movement to what is strictly necessary.
