As of Thursday evening, the number of people having tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Luxembourg has reached 2,487, including 30 fatalities resulting from the virus.

The Grand Duchy has reported an increase of 168 confirmed cases of coronavirus and one additional death related to the virus in one day. These figures include 2,099 residents and 388 non-residents. 

The 30 fatalities resulting from the virus do not include the death of one patient who had been transferred from the Grand Est region in France to Luxembourg for treatment.

To date, a total of 20,092 tests have been carried out in the Grand Duchy.
