IEE SA, a Luxembourg-based company specialising in automotive safety and comfort technology, recently announced the delivery of over 500 million in-cabin sensors to automotive manufacturers worldwide.

IEE explained that this comprehensive technology portfolio, which it said was fully compliant with the latest industry standards and vehicle safety regulations, includes a range of innovative solutions designed to improve driver and passenger experience. Key offerings include: Seat Belt Reminder; Hands-Off Detection; VitaSense Child Presence Detection; BodySense Occupant Classification; Driver Monitoring System.

Looking to the future, IEE said it was ready to further revolutionise in-cabin technology through its next-generation Sensor Fusion Solutions. These combine multiple sensor inputs to provide a more comprehensive understanding of vehicle occupants and driving conditions.
