Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions, a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal, today signed a collective agreement with the LCGB and OGB-L trade unions.

The agreement is valid for a duration of one year, taking effect from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016, and will see changes made to the working conditions of employees at Aperam. A global player in the stainless steel sector, Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions has been present in Luxembourg for twenty years and currently employees 50 members of staff at its Rodange site.

The signed agreement comprises the following improvements:

  • A linear increase of 0.7%
  • Harmonisation of an additional annual day's paid holiday related to presenteeism
  • An increase in meal vouchers for all employees.
