On Sunday 4 October 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that two bodies were discovered following a fire at a property in Bertrange on Sunday morning.
According to the police, at approximately 07:40 on Sunday they were informed of a possible fire in a garage in Bertrange.
At the scene, police officers discovered two burned bodies.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Criminal Investigation Department (Specialised Investigations and Technical Police) was assigned to investigate the scene.
