The Luxembourg-based online loan service for digital books, Ebooks.lu, has expanded its collection with 700 additional ebooks in both English and French.
Ebooks.lu, created by the Superior Council of Public Libraries and the National Library of Luxembourg (BnL), has announced the new addition to their online loan collection which is available to people who use its partner libraries, including BnL. This addition has increased the site’s collection to a total of 79,916 ebooks which can be borrowed free-of-charge worldwide.
The new additions include original and translated editions of famous works, classics and bestsellers such as those of Agatha Christie and John Steinback, as well as Amélie Nothomb and Ken Follett, to name but a few. There is also a wide range of different genres.
Registered users of Ebooks.lu are able to explore the range of literature on offer on http://ebooks.lu/rechercher-un-ebook/ where they can also download what they want to read free of charge onto their computer, smartphone, tablet or e-reader. The borrowing period is up to two weeks, with the possibility of renewal upon request.
The site offers ebooks in English, French and German.
