The partners of Elvinger Hoss Prussen have announced the promotions of Cheikh Ndiaye as Counsel and Florence Apostolou as Partner.

Cheikh Ndiaye specialises in collective investment funds and other investment vehicles. Cheikh’s practice encompasses a broad range of alternative investment funds (including private equity, real estate and hedge funds) as well as undertakings for collective investment in 
transferable securities. Cheikh also advises a number of investment fund promoters and other financial institutions in relation to the acquisition, set-up, structuring and administration of their Luxembourg investment fund operations. He was a member of the delegation of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for a multi-sectorial economic mission in Senegal in 2016 and a member of the Comité de la Conférence du Jeune Barreau de Luxembourg from 2014 to 2015. He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2011.

Florence Apostolou’s practice concentrates on all matters of employment law, social and labour law, global HR management, and employee international mobility. In particular, she has detailed experience in a wide range of HR projects and litigation, including individual and collective employment matters, such as hiring of staff, remuneration and employee profit-sharing, internal policy and contract reviews, special clauses and restrictive covenants, highly sensitive internal investigations, as well as employment aspects of M&A transactions, business restructuring, due diligence, information and consultation of employee representative bodies and collective redundancies. She is a member of ELSA (Employment Law Specialists Association Luxembourg), a member of EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association) and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2013. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Florence worked for an international audit firm in Luxembourg as a personal tax adviser for two years.
