Deloitte Luxembourg has announced that it recently onboarded 210 new colleagues from 22 countries as part of its "Autumn Induction Journey", which began on Monday 7 October 2024 at Lycée Vauban.
This "carefully curated" programme marks the start of the newcomers' professional journey, designed to immerse them in the firm's culture, history, core values and strategic vision, embodied by the guiding principles of "Higher, Further, Together".
The opening day featured presentations from leaders, including People & Purpose Leader Christian van Dartel, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Leader Sandrine Muller, Risk & Reputation Leader Jérôme Lecoq and Advisory & Consulting Group and Innovation Leader Patrick Laurent. The speakers highlighted the "extensive opportunities" within Deloitte, its "collaborative culture" and its "strong commitment to lifelong learning and innovation", the firm said.

Seeing that same enthusiasm in our new colleagues today fills me with immense pride and optimism. We are wholeheartedly committed to nurturing their talents and supporting them every step of the way. Together, we will reach higher, go further and achieve excellence."
Christian van Dartel, Partner and People & Purpose Leader, added: "We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues as they start their professional career with Deloitte, they will bring fresh perspective and learn from all our professionals. Our bespoke Deloitte journey is designed to train them to deliver our services to our clients to the highest standards, with dedication and purpose."
Running from Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 October 2024, the Autumn Induction Journey uses a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions with virtual training modules via Deloitte's advanced AI-powered educational platform. The curriculum encompasses a range of technical and soft skills, aimed at "fostering the development of lasting relationships and a strong sense of community". Beyond training, the programme includes team-building activities and networking events across Luxembourg City.
With the addition of these new professionals, Deloitte Luxembourg said it was continuing to "enrich its multicultural workforce", which now represents over 90 nationalities. The firm noted that this diversity strengthens its ability to "deliver cutting-edge solutions" and "fosters an environment that values different perspectives". The firm currently counts over 2,700 professionals working across Advisory & Consulting, Audit & Assurance, Tax, and Internal Operations.
