Luxembourg’s Chamber of Commerce has announced that it recently changed internal governance.
In the context of an internal reorganisation, Cindy Tereba has thus been promoted to Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and will join the general management alongside Carlo Thelen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In parallel with her new responsibilities, Cindy Tereba remains Director of International Affairs, aiming to ensure continuity in terms of strategic projects for the internationalisation of companies.
The Chamber of Commerce noted it has undertaken an extensive process of strategic reflection to continue optimising its organisation and adapt services and actions to the needs of economic players. Its main missions remain the defence and promotion of the interests of companies at national and European levels, to strengthen the competitiveness and attractiveness of the Luxembourg economy. The new internal governance reportedly focuses on change, digitalisation and improving internal processes, aiming for a more collaborative and efficient organisation.
The executive committee of the Chamber of Commerce is chaired by CEO Carlo Thelen and is now composed of the following directors: Cindy Tereba (Chief Transformation Officer, International Affairs), Christel Chatelain (Economic Affairs), Stéphanie Damgé (Entrepreneurship), Muriel Morbé (Talents & Skills) and Anne-Sophie Theissen (Legal & European Affairs). Serving businesses and other clients of the Chamber of Commerce, the various departments are assisted by specialised support functions, jointly implementing more agile working methods that promote the optimisation of resources. The managers of internal and transversal operations thus complete the management committee. They are Anne-Marie Loesch (Sustainability & Business Development), Bérengère Beffort (Public Relations, Marketing & Communication), Steve Breier (Finance & Affiliation), Nathalie Massonet (Budget & Controlling) and Patrick Wolter (Human Resources).
The Plenary Assembly meeting on Wednesday 25 September 2024, under the chairmanship of Fernand Ernster, approved this new organisation.
