On Wednesday 29 May 2024, AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announced the appointment of Emmanuel Dendauw as CEO for Belgium and Luxembourg, effective 1 April 2024.

Based in Brussels, Emmanuel will be responsible for supervising AXA IM Core's Client Group activities in Belgium and Luxembourg, reporting to Pierre de Bonneville, Head of Client Group Western Europe. He replaces Pol Pierret who retired from AXA IM at the end of March 2024.

Emmanuel Dendauw has worked at AXA IM since 1999 and was previously responsible for institutional sales for Western Europe.

Pierre de Bonneville, Head of Client Group Western Europe, said: "Emmanuel's knowledge of the business and the BeLux market, combined with his previous experience, will be extremely valuable in ensuring that our Brussels office continues to progress, both from an activity and employee engagement perspective."

Emmanuel joined the AXA IM office in Brussels in 1999 as Relationship Manager for AXA networks. From 2002, he led the external sales teams in Belgium and Luxembourg, before becoming Head of Institutional Sales Western Europe in 2021.

Before joining AXA IM, Emmanuel worked at Royale Belge Investment Management as a Fixed Income portfolio manager. He holds a master's degree in commercial engineering from the Solvay Business School of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He is also a financial analyst certified by EFFAS.
