On Wednesday 24 April 2024, the Board of Directors of CAPE - Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck, announced the appointment of Ana Maria Tzekov to the position of Artistic Director.

As part of her new functions, Ana Maria Tzekov will be responsible in particular for designing the establishment's multidisciplinary programming, developing relationships and strategies useful for developing audiences, and seeking private partners. Tzekov will represent CAPE within the professional bodies to which it is affiliated and will take an active part internally in the dual management of the establishment.

Born in Vienna, Tzekov holds a Master of Arts in Culture Management and a Master of Business Administration, alongside musical training in opera singing and piano. After several experiences at the Wiener Volksoper, the Bregenzer Festspiele and the Wiener Konzerthaus, Ana Maria Tzekov has held the position of Education Manager at the Philharmonie Luxembourg since 2018, where she was also responsible, from 2023, for the Luxembourg Philharmonic Academy.

Tzekov will take up her position on 1 July 2024. CAPE noted that the quality of her training profile and the diversity of her previous experiences will be assets in the face of current and future challenges in the cultural sector.
