
Carsten Gerlinger, former Vice President of Moventum Asset Management S.A. (Moventum AM), will assume the position of Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Moventum AM effective 1 August 2021; he will succeed Michael Jensen, who is retiring.
With over 30 years of professional experience, around 20 of which alone in private banking and portfolio management in Luxembourg's financial centre, 53-year-old Carsten Gerlinger is a proven expert in international financial markets. Prior to joining Moventum in 2015, the Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA) worked for Quint:Essence Capital S.A., a Luxembourg-based capital management company. Previously, he also worked at Commerzbank, DZ Bank and Deutsche Bank.

Michael Jensen, outgoing Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Moventum AM, will be retiring as of 1 August 2021. Mr Jensen established Moventum's fund asset management and was responsible for portfolio strategies, successfully developing them for more than a decade. As Executive Vice President, he was also a member of the Luxembourg-based fund platform's management board from 2013 to 2019.
