Following its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Tuesday 1 June 2021, the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA) has announced the election of Julie Becker, the newly appointed CEO of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE), to its Board of Directors in a landmark year celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Current ILA Chair Carine Feipel, as well as Justin Griffiths and Virginie Lagrange have been re-elected to the Board.

Robert Scharfe, member of the ILA Board of Directors for the last nine years did not stand for re-election due to his recent retirement from LuxSE. He will, however, continue actively collaborating with ILA as he has recently joined the ILA Education Working Committee.

Carine Feipel, Chair of the ILA Board of Directors, commented: “I am proud to be able to count on such a diverse Board. ILA is going through a digital transformation and I am confident this Board is going to steer the association towards further growth and success".

The new Board confirmed Carine Feipel as its Chair for her second and last mandate, elected Virginie Lagrange as Vice-Chair and validated the composition of the new Management Committee.

Virginie Lagrange stated: “It is a pleasure and honour to have been elected Vice-Chair of the ILA. I look forward to helping the association manage its growth, advance its digital transformation and overcome future challenges”.

This year marks the 15th (+1) anniversary of ILA, a milestone in the association's history that will be celebrated on 16 June 2021 in a virtual event with the participation of Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.
