Luxembourg non-profit association Women in Business (WIB) has announced the appointment of Isabelle Faber as the new President of its Board of Directors.

After nearly 20 years at the head of WIB, Marie-Jeanne Chèvremont-Lorenzini, founder and president of the association since its creation, decided to pass the torch to her successor as an example of good governance.

As of 1 January 2021, Isabelle Faber has assumed the role of WIB President, assisted by Cécile Lorenzini, Vice-President.

"The objective of WIB will not change and will remain motivated by our desire to exchange points of view, share experiences and draw new inspiration from the experiences of our members and our guests at the events that we organise regularly", confirmed Isabelle Faber. She added: “Today, we have no less than 110 members and new requests reach us every week despite the current situation. The benevolence and creativity of the members of the association allow us to offer other channels of communication to ensure the sustainability of the association and not to lower our guard".

Marie-Jeanne Chèvremont-Lorenzini will continue to follow and inspire the members of the association through a regular presence at events and has accepted the title of Honorary President of WIB. The former president concluded: "I am convinced that this new team has all the skills required to continue to develop the actions undertaken in recent years, in the interest of all our members and with the support of our faithful sponsors".
