Luxembourg law firm Elvinger Hoss Prussen has announced six promotions. 

The partners of Elvinger Hoss Prussen announce the following promotions: Emmanuèle de Dampierre (Counsel); Azadeh Djazayeri (Partner); Isabelle Gervais (Partner);
Jeffrey Kolbet (Partner); Michel Marques Pereira (Counsel); and Namik Ramić (Partner).

Counsel Emmanuèle de Dampierre specialises in all areas of intellectual property (IP) law. She is also active in the field of information communication technology (ICT) and data protection. She assists companies operating in various industries both in advisory and litigation matters. Emmanuèle also advises clients with respect to the IP and data protection aspects of their corporate transactions. She is a member of the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI) and of the Association pour la Protection des Données au Luxembourg (APDL). She has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2010 and of the Luxembourg Bar since 2014.

Partner Azadeh Djazayeri's practice concentrates on cross-border financing and refinancing transactions as well as restructurings. She is a member of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Juristes de Droit Bancaire (ALJB) and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Azadeh worked for six years in two Luxembourg law firms (including a Magic Circle firm) on banking matters, international cross-border financing transactions, restructurings and regulatory matters.

Partner Isabelle Gervais advises on international and domestic tax aspects of investment funds, private equity, real estate and structure finance transactions with a focus on transfer pricing matters. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), of the International Bar Association (IBA) and has been a Member of the Luxembourg Bar under her home title since 2011. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for 4 years with another leading Luxembourg law firm and for six years in the tax department of a Luxembourg Big 4 firm.

Partner Jeffrey Kolbet specialises in the field of alternative investment funds. He regularly advises investment managers on the structuring, establishment and ongoing management of funds in the private equity, venture capital, real estate and other alternative assets sectors. In addition, he represents institutional and private investors investing in alternative funds. He is a member of the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) and of the legal group committee of the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2011. Jeffrey was on secondment with Elvinger Hoss Prussen in Hong Kong
in 2017.

Counsel Michel Marques Pereira's principal field of activity is the structuring and formation of private equity, real estate and debt funds under the form of regulated or non-regulated vehicles. Michel advises a number of investment fund promoters, their investment vehicles and their investment managers on a wide range of
regulatory, commercial and finance matters. He also advises on insurance and reinsurance-related matters including unit-linked insurance plans.

Partner Namik Ramić’s principal fields of activity are corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, structuring, financing and equity capital markets. Namik has advised numerous private equity clients in relation to acquisition and other structures, and is active in the field of joint
ventures and investment structures. He advises major international groups of companies for corporate reorganisations, financing and re-financing.
